Loot Rules

1. Item counters; if it makes sense for your class, you can roll it.
2. Counter reset before Rag/BoE rolls at the end.
3. Cores/Essences split among people who did not get any loot at the end.
4. Legendaries/Recipes auctioned in the raid, 100% split via mail (min: 800 per Binding, 1.6k Eye, 200 recipe).
5. Ingots will be saved and are included for Sulf Eye.

FAQ

• Q: What are "item counters"?
  A: I note every player who receives an item. Players who won less items have priority over others in the same raid (sometimes this is called "+1 rule", but this has been misused a lot). Some items are so bad, that players usually do not want to "waste their roll". The following items are not counted and can be rolled uncounted by anyone who can equip them:
  • flamewaker-legplates
  • crimson-shocker
  • seal-of-the-archmagus
  • vendorstrike
  When nexus-crystal are in the game, this exception is canceled. The item would then get disenchanted and the crystals distributed alongside the cores/essences at the end.
• Q: Why aren't manastorm-leggings, fire-runed-grimoire, sabatons-of-the-flamewalker, gloves-of-the-hypnotic-flame, fireproof-cloak or fireguard-shoulders included in the above exception list?
  A: Because they are a solid mp5 piece (esp. for shamans), a good OH upgrade esp. for PvP, great hunter/shaman boots for PvP or drop at Majordomo after which counters reset anyway.
• Q: Why no Main Spec (MS) rule?
  A: Usually MS rule is just used to reason loot decisions in your favor. I encourage warriors to be able to tank, thus also enable them to obtain the gear for it. On the other hand "if it makes sense for your class, you can roll it" also means, that warriors and rogues have prio on strikers-mark and blastershot-launcher, since hunters have better, easier accessible options from dungeons (blackcrow, carapace-spine-crossbow or from P3 on-wards: bloodseeker). In return hunters are free to roll on core-hound-tooth and brutality-blade.
• Q: How does bidding on legendaries and recipes work?
  A: The start prices are listed above. The minimal raise step for legendaries is 100g, for recipes 40g. If no one wants to bid, recipes may be rolled for by all interested people. Left-over legendaries will be /rnd 1-40 until a player is hit, for which the item makes sense (Binding: Warrior/Rogue, Eye: Warrior/Shaman). Player index is determined by position in the raid tab, e.g. the 3rd player in group 4 would be player #18
• Q: I can douse runes in MC. Do I get a special reward?
  A: No, enabling Domo + Rag encounters is reward in itself, the whole raid still needs to kill those.
• Q: Why are you doing this?
  A: I believe in PuGs with fair loot rules and solid leadership. Lots of other PuGs are just born out of distress and greed, with incapable leaders spouting insults.
• Q: Who are you? How can we trust you?
  A: I'm Drak/Drakon. I re-introduced the world to proper Vanilla pugging incl. GDKP on Feenix pserver, from where it eventually spread to other pservers. I transparently redistributed ~5 Million gold on Alliance alone.

Past Raids

#1 2019-10-06	8/10	Lots of hunters and caster loot. Both +55heal/+30dmg enchants dropped, no one was even willing to bid 200g, so those were raid rolled. 3 wipes (trash, Sulfuron, Golemagg). Didn't have any dousers, but 5 people on the hands step. Next week aiming for Domo+Rag as well. Overall pretty smooth raid. Note for next time: bring a repair bot! ;)
